He emphasized a community-based approach to his business, stating, “We want people to feel like this is, in a lot of ways, theirs.”\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eThe brewery sold 310 barrels of beer in its first year, and by 1992, sales were up to nearly 4,000 barrels. In 2012, the brewery expanded its brewing facility again – adding 6,750 square feet and 105,000 barrels of production capacity.
