Czech Dark Lager (also known as Tmavé Pivo if you wanna get real technical) is the unsung hero of Czech beer culture. Precipice is our take on this formative style in collaboration with Schilling Beer Co (New Hampshire). It was a true joy crafting this beer with a brewery that takes lagers as seriously as we do. We’re talking Tmavé Pivo serious.
Brewed exclusively with Czech ingredients, for this knockout beer we married Schilling’s brewing technique with our oak aging technique, which included six weeks in our foudre. Near black in color, it’s got a ton of roasted malt complexity while remaining highly drinkable.
